Over the last two years, we have consolidated our development in the Romandie commercial property market.

We have continued to pursue the same strategy i.e. land acquisitions, constructions, renovations and eventually disposals of fully let mixed-use commercial real estate.

Firstly, at the end of 2015 / beginning of 2016, we have sold two buildings developed by us to Swiss institutional investors.

The first one is « Hotel Industriel des Galants » in Meyrin (GE), a large industrial building, comprising 27’000 sqm over 5 levels, fully let upon completion to quality tenants, who turn out to be very satisfied with their new premises, well adapted to their needs.

The second building is « CP du Vallon » in Bussigny (VD), a 6’200 sqm car dealership property, renovated by Compagnie des Parcs in 2014 / 2015, and located at a high traffic roundabout in the Lausanne-Bussigny retail zone.

In 2016, we have further pursued two renovation projects, located in Meyrin (GE) and Gland (VD) due to be completed in Q1 2017. The Meyrin 9’600 sqm building is let to two car dealerships and the Gland one is a 6’000 sqm mixed-use building, 92% leased to date.

Moreover, after having bought 4 years ago, as land bank, another industrial site in Meyrin (GE), strategically located right in front of Campus Genevois de la Haute Horlogerie, we are coordinating with the Fondation des Terrains Industriels (FTI) in order to develop a 27’000 sqm mixed-use building combining a hotel, a light industrial building of 10’000 sqm, over an underground 400 parking spaces.

This year, we also intend to launch the construction of a 15’000 sqm building in Geneva Canton, as part of a joint-venture with a leading watchmaking group.

Altogether, we take pride in creating state of the art new property facilities, meeting our tenants needs, in close partnership with local authorities.

Over the last 10 years, we have managed to provide quality space to several tenants with whom we have established long-term relationships.

In this new critical economic environment, success will be driven, more than ever, by several key factors:

  • choice of strategic locations,
  • partnership with quality end-users,
  • understanding and adapting to their needs,
  • engage in close coordination with the local authorities involved,
  • design quality and flexible of buildings,
  • support from our shareholders and bankers.

Going forward, some other exciting development opportunities in Geneva, Vaud and Jura will keep our team busy. I wish to thank them all for their continuing support.
